St. Joseph Church Picnic to be held on Sunday

    There will be 15 prize drawings totaling $21,600.00 to be given away during the St. Joseph Church Picnic in Yoakum on Aug. 7 at the Yoakum Community Center. Pictured from left to right are SJS Principal Sean Mooney, Father Matthew Huehlefeld, and Picnic Chairperson Patrick Matusek with some of the auction items. The top prize value is $10,000.00. The picnic stew meal starts at 10: 30 a.m. Tickets are $12 per plate. The auction starts at 12:30 p.m. and Mexican food will be served in the afternoon.
