Ezzell ISD begins new school year
The Ezzell Independent School District started the 2023-24 school term this past Monday, Aug. 7 and is following a four-day week schedule.The Ezzell Independent School District started the 2023-24 school term this past Monday, Aug. 7 and is following a four-day week schedule.
During the previous year, the high school students attended four days a week of classes and this year the entire student body including Pre-K through 8 will follow the program.
According to Ezzell ISD principal, Aaron Pohl, classes will start each day at 7:50 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.
Regarding the number of students attending the district, Ezzell ISD superintendent, Lisa Berckenhoff, reports they have 30 students enrolled in high school classes and 105 in Pre-K through 8.
Cafeteria prices for breakfast and lunch:
• Students – $1 for breakfast; $3.40 for lunch.
• Adults – $2.15 for breakfast; $4 for lunch.
