Banquet set for Jan. 25, 2024

The Yoakum Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Banquet will be held Jan. 25, 2024 at the Yoakum Community Center. This year’s banquet theme is Kentucky Derby and we will feature real casino games, such as Blackjack, Roulette, and Craps tables during happy hour. We will also have silent and live auctions items. To allow for all of the good fun, we will start the event at 5:30 p.m. The meal and program will follow at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at the Chamber Office, located at 105 Huck St. in Yoakum. Individual tickets are available at $40 each. Corporate tables for $400 will be available, but are limited. We ask you purchase these tables as soon as possible.

Each year, membership gathers for a wonderful evening filled with good food and fellowship. The evening for a fabulous opportunity to visit with old friends and make some new ones as we take a look back on the previous year’s events, enjoy a tasty catered meal by S & J Catering, and honor outstanding individuals and businesses within our community. Yearly awards include the Paul F. Gustwick Award for outstanding community service, Educator of the Year, Leader of Tomorrow, and the Spirit Award.
