When Sean Speaks
‘Choices can have a big impact on our lives’
On Thursday, March 14, 2024, MISD Hosted Sean Carter and his mother Jenny Carter for their “When Sean Speaks” program. Sean was a passenger in a drunk driving vehicle crash in 2005.
An aspiring lawyer, his life was forever changed that night. Sean and his mom's presentation highlighted points of how our choices can have a big impact on our lives. Sean suffered a major traumatic brain injury and now can only communicate with the assistance of an iPad and speaker.
