Brahma golfers advance to Regional tournament

    V I C TO R I A – Th e Hallettsville Brahmas didn’t play up to their potential in the District 25-AAA Tournament Monday and Tuesday April 8-9 at Riverside Golf Course, but nonetheless qualified for the 3A Regional IV tournament this week in San Antonio.

    The Brahmas finished second to Industrial.

    Brady Copley was the top individual in the tournament with an 81- 78-159.

    Freshman Eli Ferguson came in with a 91-87-178, Layne Gerke 94-91-185 Tanner Cliffe 104-99-213 and Adam Stock 102-98-200.

    Another freshman, Brailey Gohlke, was the top individualist for the Lady Brahmas with a 109-109-218 and Alaina Halata was next with a 122-122-244.
