Where to vote
Republican Party voters will go to the polls Tuesday, May 28 to decide the party’s nominees for the Lavaca County Sheriff and the Texas State Representative for District 30.
All 11 Lavaca County voting precincts will be open 60th-year reunion on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Early in person voting continues at the Lavaca County Annex Building through Friday of this week with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
In the race for the Lavaca County sheriff nominee two candidates are on the ballot, who include incumbent Micah Harmon and challenger Steven Greenwell.
Appearing on the ballot for the District 30 Texas State Representative chair are A. J. Louderback and Jeff Bauknight.
With the Lavaca County Democrat Party having no opposition for sheriff, the winner of the county sheriff’s Republican Party primary will be uncontested in November.
The winner of state representative District 30 runoff will meet the Democrat Party nominee, Stephanie R. Bassham, in November.

• Pct. 102 — Senior Citizens Center, 326 S. La Grange St., Hallettsville.
• Pct. 208 — Moravia Parish Hall – 11175 FM 957, Schulenburg.
• Pct. 309 — Shiner Baptist Church, 120 West 15th St., Shiner.
• Pct. 311 — Sweet Home Community Center, 348 CR 391, Sweet Home .
• Pct. 416 — Hope Community Hall – 122 CR 413A, Yoakum.
• Pct. 119 — Baptist Church, Vienna – 2767 CR 125, Hallettsville.
• Pct. 223 — Moulton Community Center, 102 Veteran’s Dr., Moulton.
• Pct. 329 — Hoffie & Lank Wolters Shiner Public Library Cultural Center, 115 E. Wolters/2nd St., Shiner.
• Pct. 430 — Yoakum Methodist Church – 1026 E. Gonzales, Yoakum.
• Pct. 231 — Lavaca County Courthouse Annex, 412 N. Texana St., Hallettsville.
