    The Shiner Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the contestants for the 45th Annual Miss Shiner Pageant. The winning contestants will represent Shiner throughout the year at many local events in and around the Shiner area.
    This past year, the 44th Shiner Royal Court represented Shiner proudly by attending 18 parades and participated in nearly 30 community service events.
    The 2024 Miss Shiner contestant is Callie Sevcik, a senior attending Shiner High School. Callie is active in SISD Athletics, FFA, UIL and is a member of the National Honor Society.  
    She is the founder of a non-profit, Beautifully Unbroken, created to help grieving families cope with pregnancy or child loss. 
    Callie enjoys singing, gardening, drawing, writing and floral design. She is the daughter of Amye and Ryan Sevcik.
    The young ladies participating in the Junior Miss category are Alena Winkenwerder, daughter of Jim and Rachel Winkenwerder; Anna Ashcraft, daughter of Michael and Alicia Ashcraft; and Patricia Price, daughter of Gilbert and Michelle Price.
    The Young Miss contestants are Ainsley Guelker, daughter of Miles and Kayla Guelker; Dawsyn Shimek, daughter of Dustin and Crystal Shimek; Harper Strzelczyk, daughter of Greg and Alicea Strzelczyk; Piper Wallace, daughter of Duncan and Brandi Wallace; and Scarlett Stefka, daughter of Connor and Brooke Stefka.
    Little Miss contestants include Jentry Smith, daughter of James and Megan Smith; and Jurnee Perez, daughter of Ben and Sherri Perez.
    And Tiny Miss contestants are Adaline Kieschnick, daughter of Keith and Lauren Kieschnick; Sofie Kvinta, daughter of Matthew and Megan Kvinta; and Tessa Donaldson, daughter of Charlie and Erin Donaldson.
    Join the Chamber on Thursday, June 27 at Shiner First United Methodist Church Activity Center at 7 p.m. to crown the 45th Shiner Royal Court. Tickets will be $5 at the door.
