Hallettsville woman severely injured in accident

An accident in Moulton in front of Bridal Rail left one injured last Friday.

A white Chevy S10 was south bound on TX95 in Moulton when the driver of the vehicle suffered a medical emergency.

The driver, a female Hallettsville resident, and her passenger ran off the roadway and into a local business sign.

Once Moulton Police officers and Moulton Fire personnel arrived, lifesaving actions began on the driver while both her and the passenger were trapped in the vehicle. Fire personnel were then able to free both subjects from the vehicle.

Once EMS arrived, they transported the driver and the passenger to the Yoakum Community Hospital and the driver was then flown to the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, where she is expected to make a full recovery. The passenger suffered severe, but non-life threatening injuries.
