Crime Stoppers supporting Deputy Santa program

The Lavaca County Crime Stoppers, Inc. will be sponsoring the Deputy Santa program this Christmas season that is available for children up to 10 years of age.

Sign up to participate in the program begins Monday, Nov. 25 and will be held through Friday, Dec. 6.

Parents or guardians who reside in Lavaca County may sign-up at the Lavaca County Criminal Justice Center in Hallettsville, the Shiner City Hall and the Moulton City Hall.

Crime Stoppers, Inc. say they will accept monetary donations as well as toys and food donations for the elderly.

The pick-up date for the toys will be Tuesday, Dec. 17 between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. in Hallettsville at the Lavaca County Criminal Justice Center, the Shiner Police Department and the Moulton City Hall.
