Eight Brahmas 1st team All-District

Aiden Drozd gained the ultimate award when he was named Lineman of the Year in District 12-AAA, Division I.

D ro z d , a 6 - 2 , 2 3 5 pound senior, graded 93% on offense and had 31 pancake blocks. On defense, he recorded 10 tackles for losses and forced two fumbles.

Jesse Cavazos was named Utility Player of the Year.

Cavazos carried 30 times for 198 yards rushing, has 13 pass receptions for 62 yards. On defense he recorded 49 total tackles, five tackles for losses, forced two fumbles and recovered two fumbles.

Linebacker Carter Blaha had 117 total tackles, 30 solos, seven for losses, forced one fumble, recovered a fumble and blocked a kick.

Quarterback Mycole Pegoda produced 1,750 of total offense yards - 620 yards passing and 1,130 rushing.

Linebacker Matthew Montgomery led the team in tackles with 118, had four tackles for losses, six quarterback pressures and three pass break ups.

Lineman Kyle Svetlik graded out at 91% with 21 pancake blocks.

Caden Willis intercepted two passes, had six pass break ups and 32 tackles.

Co-MVPs of the district were Columbus quarterback Adam Schobel and Hitchcock quarterback Lloyd Jones III.

Offensive MVP was receiver Kelshaun Johnson of Hitchcock.

Defensive Player of the Year was linebacker John Schobel of Columbus
