Brahmas defeat Tigers in OT

The Hallettsville Brahmas ended a four-game losing streak with a 44-42 overtime victory over Tidehaven in a District 25-AAA here Tuesday, Jan. 30.

The Brahmas outscored the Tigers 4-2 in the OT period.

The Brahmas had a 17-9 lead after the first period and led 29-25 lead at the intermission.

Jorian Wilson led the Brahmas with 11 points and Kason Podhajsky tallied 10. Wilson also had 13 rebounds and blocked 7 shots.

Industrial 69, Brahmas 52

The Cobras couldn’t seem to miss in the 69-52 victory over the Brahmas here Friday

Industrial, who shot 51.2% from the floor,had a 20-12 advantage at the first break and upped the count 37-21 at the half. The Brahmas fought back to get the lead down to 12 points before the Cobras finished with a flurry.

Nick Kuchar scored 15 of his 18 points in the second half to lead the Cobras. Jorian Wilson also scored 18 points for the Brahmas.
