Brahmas defeat alumni

The Hallettsville Brahmas trailed the Alumni 4-0 after two and a half innings before coming back with a seven-run third to win 26-7.

After the Alumni scored two runs in the top of the fourth, the Brahmas put across 9 runs in the bottom of the frame.

Brahma Andrew George was named the MVP as chosen by sports writers attending. George went 3 for 3 with two doubles, a walk and 4 RBI.
