Shiner High School graduation held May 23

    Shiner High School held the 2025 commencement Friday, May 23 at Comanche Stadium. 
    The Shiner High School band played the processional and following the invocation by Eve Roberts, the band played the National Anthem and Erin Pustka led the Pledge of Allegiance.
    Callie Sevcik gave the salutatory address and Callie Chrismon gave the valedictory address.
    Class history was given by Keely Knesek.
    The program proceeded with the presentation of diplomas by SISD board members.
    Superintendent Alex Remschel and Principal Chris Wegener presented subject awards to graduates.
    Eli Tronicek was the recipient of Math “S” award.
    Diego Lozano was the recipient of Building Trades “S” award.
    Callie Chrismon was the recipient of Science “S” award.
    Callie Sevcik was the recipient of the Social Studies and English “S” awards.
    Eve Roberts was the recipient of the Foreign Language “S” Award.
    Kara Remschel was the recipient of Speech “S” award.
    Jansen Flores was the recipient of the Band and Drama “S” awards.
    Jase Rainosek was the recipient of Vocational Agriculture “S” award.
    Boys Athletics “S” Awards went to Carson Schuette.
    Girls Athletics “S” Award went to Brinley Ramirez.
    Martin Medals were awarded to: JaMya Wright, Oratory; Callie Sevcik, Math; and Callie Chrismon, English.
    Jase Rainosek, class president, presented a special tribute and Superintendent Alex Remschel gave closing remarks.
    Benediction by Kye Adamek concluded the ceremonies.
