Edna 53, Brahmas 27

EDNA – The hard luck Hallettsville Brahmas fell behind early and were never in the game in a 53- 27 loss to Edna Tuesday, Jan. 27.

The only Brahma field goal came from Tezmond Gutierrez as the Cowboys took a 15-2 lead at the end of the first quarter. Jacoby Martinez led the Cowboys’ surge with five points.

Martinez scored a game-high 15 points.

The Cowboys shot 47% from behind the arc.
