Doris Roznovsky

Doris Marie Polasek Roznovsky, 80, of Victoria, formerly of Port Lavaca, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023 in Victoria.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, July 2, immediately followed by reciting of the Rosary at 7 p.m., all at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home in Port Lavaca.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, July 3 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Port Lavaca.
Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 3 at Shiner Catholic Cemetery.
Honoring her by serving as pallbearers will be Juan Basaldua, Rene Valdez, Josh Robertson, Desmon Riser, Lennie Clark, Clem Flores, Rylan Basaldua, and Ivan Basaldua.
She was born on June 23, 1943 in Shiner, to the late Steve and Elsie Hafernik Polasek. Doris was a cashier at Stanley’s for many years, and was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Port Lavaca.
Survivors include her daughters, Stevie Roznovsky, and Wanda Skrovan; grandchildren, Kayla Roznovsky and husband Juan Basaldua, Katilynn Higgins, Kyla Higgins, Haley Flores and Clem Flores; great-grandchildren, Rylan Basaldua, Ivan Basaldua, Jayven Basaldua, Mateo Basaldua, De’Andre Riser and Kinsley Miller. Doris also leaves behind numerous extended family, all of whom will cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Clement Roznovsky, Jr.; daughter, Diana Roznovsky; and sisters, Dorothy Herschap, Sidonia Sonntag and Evelyn Valenta.
