Edward Lee Eddy Sr.

Edward Lee Eddy, Sr., known to most as Eddie, of Shiner, died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, July 2, 2022.  He is reunited with his “Angel” and wife, Eva Eddy after years of being apart.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 6 at First United Methodist Church in Shiner.
Arrangements are under the direction of Victoria Mortuary and Cremation Services. Inc.
He was born on September 14, 1940, to the late Harold James and Anna Sullivan Eddy.
Eddy has always been a hard worker and admired those with good work ethic as well. He had plenty to talk about and enjoyed visiting with others, especially over a game of pool! He had great admiration for the fellow church members at Shiner’s First United Methodist Church, as they showed he and Eva so much love over the years that they had fellowship with them.
He is missed by those still here on earth and embraced by those who are with him now. His many grandchildren and great grandchildren are among those who miss him as well.
Survivors include his children, Richard Eddy and Sharon Jones; step-children, Jon Whitford, Donna Migl, and Carol Gambrel; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Eddy; children, Pamela Eddy and Edward Eddy, Jr.; stepchildren, Curtis Whitford, James (Jimmy) Whitford and Robert (Bobby) Barnet.
