Edward Paul Zapalac

Edward Paul Zapalac, 87, of Hallettsville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023.   

He was born in Hallettsville, to Eddie and Marcella Drozd Zapalac on Aug. 12, 1935.  

 He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville.  

Edward is survived by his brother, Melvin Zapalac, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation began at 5 p.m. and continued until 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9 at Kubena Funeral Home in Hallettsville 

Funeral Mass was celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 10 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. Rev. John Affum officiated. 

Entombment followed at Sacred Heart Catholic Center

 Pallbearers were Allan Berger, Rodney Haas, Dennis Dworsky, Christopher Olivarez, Ralph Olivarez and David Zapalac. 

  Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or a charity of donor’s choice.
