Helen Hinze

Helen Hinze, 88, of Katy, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
Gravesite services were held on Tuesday, August 23 in Shiner.
She was born on August 17, 1934, in Chappell Hill, to the late Frank and Rosie Zientek.  She married Dennis Hinze of Shiner on October 13, 1956.  They were married for over 53 years until his passing.
Dennis and Helen made their home in Pasadena for many years until they moved to Katy for their retirement years.
Survivors include son, David Hinze and wife Lois of San Antonio; daughter, Linda Templin with husband Donald of La Grange and son Wilbur “Speedy” Hinze, all of Houston; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters, Vicki Bolcerek, Connie Schmidt and Dorothy Brymm, all of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Hinze; infant son, Herbert Hinze; her parents; and brothers, Florian Zientek and Stanley Zientek.
