John Alvin Thompson
John Alvin Thompson, 69, of Hallettsville, went to his heavenly home Tuesday, July 5, 2022, surrounded by his family after a twenty-one year battle with brain cancer.
He was born in Sinton on June 7, 1953, to R.L. and Doris Dover Thompson.
John and Cindy Garrett Thompson were married Jan. 4, 1977 in Big Wells.
John is survived by Cindy, his wife of 45 years; three sons; 19 grandchildren and two sisters.
John was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and one brother.
Memorial funeral services were held Saturday, July 9 at Kubena Funeral Home in Hallettsville.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
