Laurine Muenster Krejci
Laurine Muenster Krejci passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022.
Laurine was born on March 22, 1937 in Hallettsville.
On Nov. 16, 1957, she married Milton Anton Krejci in Koerth.
Laurine and Milton were very proud of their two sons, Darrell Joseph Krejci and Gary Wayne
Krejci. She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening and traveling.
In 1999, Laurine retired from Target after 30 years of service. Laurine and Milton were Charter
Members of St. Jerome Catholic Church for many years and then became faithful members of
St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church where Laurine was an active member of the Kolbe Seniors
Group. She was very proud of her service work at St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic Church and the
lifelong friendships she made with many of her fellow parishioners.
Laurine was preceded in death by her father, Joseph “Joe” Muenster; her mother, Lillian “Lillie”
Muenster; Milton Krejci, her loving husband of 45 years, and her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Krejci.
She is survived by her son, Gary Krejci; her son, Darrell Krejci and wife, Suzanne, and
grandchildren, Nicolas Krejci,Justin Krejci and his wife, Jessica; Jessica Krejci, Cody Krejci,
Haley Krejci and step-granddaughter, Amy Hoffman. She is also survived by great-grandchildren
Emilia Krejci, Eleanor Krejci, Wyatt Green; step great-grandchildren, Chance Hoffman and
Camron Hoffman, and her sister, Mildred Vrazel of Danbury; her brother, J.D. Muenster and wife,
Gloria of Houston, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
The family received guests for visitation at the Brookside Funeral Home Cypress Creek, 9149
Highway 6 North in Houston on Friday, Dec. 16 between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Funeral services were held at Brookside Funeral Home Cypress Creek on Saturday, Dec. 17
at 11 a.m.
Immediately following, a private Rite of Committal took take place at Memorial Oaks
Cemetery.
