Lester Hohensee

Lester Hohensee, 86, of Moulton, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022 in Amarillo.

Lester was born in Rowena on March 29, 1936, to Frank and Hattie Dierschke Hohensee. 

He worked in the supermarket industry starting as the meat market manager and then working his way up to product merchandising for multiple stores. 

Lester was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 47 years, Lydia Hohensee. 

Lester is survived by his son, Gayland Hohensee and wife, Peggy; daughter, Karen Green and husband, Scott; son, Mark Hohensee and wife, Donita; daughter, Cheryl Hohensee-Angerstein and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Kristen Lavender and husband, Brent; Brandon Green and wife, Barbie; Robert Green and wife, Angela, and Kortnee Ranco and husband, Eric; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Bradley Green, and step-great-grandchildren, Tylie and Tye Sheffield.

Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. before the services

Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 4 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moulton, with Father Gabriel Maison as celebrant

Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Moulton.
