Misty Nicole Tesch
Misty Nicole Tesch, 43, was a loving mother of three children, bonus mom to three, a beautiful fianceé, amazing daughter, the best sister, friend to all and stranger to none.
Misty gained her wings and golden ticket to walk through those Pearly Gates on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022.
Misty was born in Eagle Lake on Feb. 5, 1979 to Michelle Tesch. In just a few short years she helped her mama pick the one she’d call Dad.
Misty was very active her community. From being president of Little League to coaching and volunteering for anything and everything. Misty always had a smile on her face and always kept her hands busy.
To know her was to love her. Whether she cooked all your favorite food or if you were lucky enough to have her as your waitress. She is someone you would never forget.
When Misty wasn’t busy with volunteering and work, you could catch here riding in a trail ride, dancing anywhere and always with a cold one in her hand. If you didn’t see her you’d most definitely hear her just around the corner. You could hear her infamous yowl from two counties over.
Misty is survived by her mother, Michelle Tesch-Mowery of Sublime; her fianceé, Dustin Popp of Sheridan; her three beautiful girls, Madison Gestner (18); Melody Gestner (16), and Adalynn Tesch (11), and her three bonus children, Caleb Popp (23); Caley Popp (16), and Joseph Popp (5); sister, Megan Mowery-Dierschke and husband, Layne of Ezzell; brothers, Mason Mowery and wife Heather of Bandera, TX, Mitch Mowery and wife Kelly of Hallettsville; four nephews, Wyatt, Brody, Axel and Kyle, and one niece, Hayley.
Misty was preceded in death by her father, Mike Mowery and her grandparents, Clifton and Novella Tesch.
Memorial services for Misty will be held Friday, Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. at the Sheridan Community Center.
Misty’s celebration of life will follow with a date in 2023.
