Narda "Sue" Speyrer

Narda Sue Speyrer (“Sue”), 90, was born on Sept. 7, 1931 in Brownfield to J.B. and Ola Mae Warren. 

She passed on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022 in Shenandoah (The Woodlands). 

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; her parents, and her sister, Joyce Quenell Lindauer.

She is survived by a son, Richard (Mary Ellen) of Hallettsville; son, Gary (Sherri) of Covington, La.; daughter, Cynthia of Shenandoah; son, Carl (Tamra) of Conroe; grandchildren, Timothy, Dustin, Jared, Joshua, Emma and Ava Speyrer, and great-grandchildren, Paxton, Brody and Nora Speyrer, Ellie Speyrer, Hudson and  Piper Speyrer, brother, John Warren of Fort Smith, Ark.

Sue grew up in West Texas and New Mexico.  As a young teacher, in Artesia, NM she met her husband, Henry of 65 years. 

They lived many years in Louisiana then finally settled in Texas.

She will be forever missed by her family and friends.

Holy Rosary was recited on Monday, Aug. 29, followed by a Mass of Resurrection at Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church, The Woodlands.

In leu of flowers donations may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society through Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
