Pervis Fluitt Jr.

Pervis Fluitt, Jr., 72, of Shiner, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026.  
He was born August 26, 1953, to Pervis Fluitt Sr. and Mildred (Edwards) Fluitt.
Pervis married Kathy (Roller) Fluitt and they enjoyed 17 years of marriage until her passing in 2015. Pervis was an oilfield Mud Engineer. He enjoyed camping and travel with his family and loved his dog Sammie.
Survivors include his daughter, Hillary Rosengrant (Anthony) of Victoria; son, Shannon Fluitt (Brenda) of Shiner; step-son Casey Emerson (Elizabeth) of San Antonio; grandchildren, Ace Rosengrant, Alexandria Rosengrant, Arya Rosengrant, Reagan Fluitt and Riley Fluitt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Brenda Fluitt.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 12 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home.  
Burial followed at Shiner Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were his grandchildren and other family members.
