Phillip Wayne Rogers

He was born in Alice on March 30, 1952 to Homer V. Rogers and Myrtle (Winters) Rogers.

Phil loved the Astros. He loved old-time rock-and-roll and everything to do with country music:
singing and playing it on the guitar; organizing bands to play it at the Sweet Home Hall; and
dancing to it with “his Grace”, surrounded by their many friends.
Most of all, Phil loved family. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Grace Leonita Dornak
Rogers, who he married on Sept. 30, 1978; daughters, Melissa Rogers Todd and husband,
Kenneth; Serena Stasa and husband, Kirk; Teresa Rogers and husband, Jacob Spangenberg;
