Virginia Mae Hagan

Virginia Mae Hagan, age 89, passed away July 21.

She was born Oct. 7, 1932 in Yoakum to Herbert Herman and Leona Otelia Meyer Becker.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Jemelka (Mark); sons, Dale Hagan (Cathy), Kim Hagan (Susan), Robert Hagan (Kathy) and Mark "Buzz" Hagan (Pam); 13 grandchildren, one step-grandchild, 22 great-grandchildren, and two step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen Ray Hagan; and brother, Herbert Hale Becker.

A visitation and Rosary were held July 24 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass was held July 25 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Huehlefeld officiating. Entombment was at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.

The pallbearers included Reinhard Hagan, Bradley Jemelka, Reese Hagan, Dallas Hagan, Bryson Hagan, and Lane Hagan.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Joseph Catholic School, St. Joseph Catholic Church, or Hospice of South Texas.
