Wayne Stock

Wayne Anthony Stock entered peacefully into eternal sleep on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
He was born on February 19, 1970 in the Wagner Hospital in Shiner, to Paul E. and Mary Ann (Pustka) Stock. He attended St. Ludmila’s Academy and graduated in 1988 from St. Paul High School. While attending school he was active in 4-H and FFA. He was a member of the Shiner Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Union of Texas, the K.J.T.
After high school he attended Texas State Technical Institute in Waco. There he studied automotive technology that he enjoyed. He was the happiest when he was using his mechanical skills rebuilding an engine or performing maintenance on farm vehicles, tractors, and equipment.
He was active in the family farming and ranching operations taking care of cattle and sheep and working alongside his dad raking hay and hauling square bales with his brothers.
In spite of his mental health issues that he faced most of his adult life, he was a caring man of few words who enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed his 80s and 90s music on the radio or from his collection of CDs.
He was always ready to barbecue a slab of pork ribs or put hamburgers and sausage on the Old Smokey while enjoying time with family. He took pleasure with his pet dogs and whatever stray cat found their way to the farm.
Wayne is survived by his mother, Mary Ann (Pustka) Stock; sister, Lisa Stock, and brothers, Kenneth (Julie) and Paul (Katherine); nieces, Jenna Stock and Anna Stock; and nephew, Ben Stock.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul E. Stock, May 31, 2011.
