3 Lady Brahmas All-District

Three Hallettsville Lady Brahmas were named to the 25-AAA all-district volleyball team.

Outside hitter Kasey Harper and junior setter Alaina Halata were first team selection and senior libero Hanna Zachary gained second team status.

Sophomore Jans Henke and senior Kenedy Wood were named honorable mention.

Lady Brahmas on the Academic All-district team were Harper, Zachary, Wood, Halata, Henke, Haven Drozd, Avery Bujnoch, Addison Matula, Christine Felcman, Lexi Bludau, Caitlynn Halata, Lexi Bludau, and managers Analise Goode, Ava Garcia and Rhyon Sidney.

District champion Columbus dominated the special awards.

Taylor Morrow was named the overall MVP, and Caylie Nelson Defensive Player of the Year.

Offensive/Hitter Player of the Year was Industrial’s; Karlie Stanush; Co-Libero of the Year was Olivia Fojt of Yoakum and Autumn Kallus of Edna and Newcomer of the Year was Yoakum’s Lilly Fojt.
