Bulldogs rally to edge Tidehaven Tigers in overtime

Jamar Hopkins scored 19 points and Zach Taylor dropped in 16 points to lead Yoakum boys basketball team to a 52-50 win at Tidehaven in overtime.

The Tigers posted a 21-19 lead after the first quarter and the teams each scored seven points in the second quarter.

Tidehaven went ahead seven with a 12-7 run in the third quarter.

Yoakum scored 15 of 23 points in the fourth quarter to force overtime and then outscored Tidehaven 4-2 in the extra period.

Luke Aguilera and Kevin Rickaway each scored 14 points for Tidehaven.
