Hallettsville XC brings home medals from Gonzales, prepares for Shiner
Hallettsville cross country runners are gearing up for tomorrow’s meet in Shiner just a week after promising results at Gonzales Cross Country Invitational.
The Lady Brahmas finished second overall with Olivia Etzler, Juliet Davenport, Darby Phillips and Adalyn Pohl, all medaling.
Etzler led the team with a first-place overall finish with a time of 12:42, with Davenport only 12 seconds behind.
Hallettsville varsity boy runners Josh Griffen and Nathan Sandelovic placed ninth and 15th, respectively.
Peyton Pasak brought home a ninth-place finish in the junior varsity girls race.
The Hallettsville runners will compete again at Shiner’s Green Dickson Park tomorrow, Oct. 1.
