Indianettes 2-0-2 in Flatonia

FLATONIA – The Sacred Heart Indians went 2-0-2 in the Flatonia Tournament Thursday and Friday.

Sacred Heart if 15-4-2 on the season.

SH 15, Flatonia 0 (3)

Ella Demel homered and was the winning pitcher in Saturday’s game victory over Flatonia.

Avery Beach doubled and tripled and Rylan Dworsky had a three-bagger.

Phoenix Richter had two hits and Ava Lackey one.

SH 12, Industrial 0

Aracely Guzman was the winning pitcher.

SH had nine hits. Lanie Haas had two with a triple and RBI, Avery Beach doubled and tripled, Ava Lackey doubled and Madeline Kurtz, Kinley Migl, Allie Clark and Brianna Clark all singled.

SH 9, Yoakum 9 (tie)

The tournament had a “drop dead” rule where the game was stopped when time expired. The Indianettes were the home team but did not get their last at-bat.

Aracely Guzman homered and Avery Beach threw two innings.

SH 4, Smithville 4 (tie)

SH and the Lady Tigers battled to a tie.

Avery Beach threw the four inning game and gave up zero earned runs, three hits and struck out two.

Beach also tripled and Ava Lackey was two-fortwo with a double and RBI and Ella Demel singled.
