Indianettes garner 2nd place in FA Tourney

VICTORIA – The Sacred Heart Indianettes took second place in the Victoria Faith Academy Tournament.

The only loss came to the Victoria Cobras, 38- 36. The score book was not available for this game.

Kaycee Schindler, Kenzie Chance and Harley Wilson were named to the All-Tournament team.

SH 48, A-T 31

The Indianettes defeated the Redfish on Friday, 48-31.

Harley Wilson led the Indianettes with 11 points and hit two threepointers.

The Indianettes won despite a scoreless second quarter, but still led at the half, 15-13.

SH out-scored Austin Hill Country 7-5 in overtime in the 38-36 victory.

Harley Wilson hit a trey and Mallory Mueller and Heather Wilson scored baskets in the overtime period.

The Indianettes shot only 8 free throws in the contest and made 3.

SH had an easy time with Bellville Faith Academy in the tournament opener Friday.

Kenzie Chance led the Indianettes with 15 points.
