Indianettes take over sole possession of first place
Sacred Heart and St. Paul were toe-toe before the Indianettes scored 10 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to claim an 18-8 victory and take over sole possession of first place in TAPPS District 5, Division IV here Tuesday, April 1.
The Indianettes had just four hits in the frame and took advantage of five walks and three errors.
SP scored three runs in the top of the first inning and the Indianettes countered with four runs in the bottom of the first.
Kenzie Chance led off with a double, Rylan Dworsky singled before Avery Beach homered over the center field fence. Emma Demel walked before scoring on a fielder’s choice for a 4-3 lead.
The Lady Cardinals tied the score at 4-4 in the second inning prior to the Indianettes scoring four runs in the bottom of the canto.
Chance led off with a walk and Dworsky singled. Both advanced a base on a wild pitch before Demel and Karley Kostelnik hit run-scoring singles.
The Lady Cardinals chipped away at the lead with a three-run third inning and one in the fourth.

The Indianettes took and 18-2 road win over San Antonio Lutheran Friday.
SH collected 18 hits with Ainsley Grahmann the winning pitcher. Avery Beach had four of the hits.
