    PETTUS – The Sacred Heart Indians outscored Pettus 1-0 in the scrimmage Friday against Pettus.

    The lone touchdown came on a short pass from quarterback Andrew Steffek to Clayton Haas.

    I felt we did all right,” head coach Alex Seydler said “Defensively, we played with great effort and held them out of the end zone and that is always our goal.

    “Offensively, we scored, but have a lot to clean up. We have to do a better job of being on the same page and need to sustain drives,” Seydler said.

    The Indians’ final audition is Thursday when they host Louise behind the school starting at 5 p.m.

    The Indians also play the Hornets during the regular season.

    SH opens it season Friday, Aug. 30 at Schulenburg.
