Indians finish third in Faith Acad. Tourney

    VICTORIA – The Sacred Heart Indians posted two wins and two losses to finish third in the Victoria Faith Academy Tournament Friday and Saturday.

    The Indians defeated the Victoria Cobras 53-48 in the first round Friday.

    Hudson Kutac poured in a game 21 points.

    The Indians led 8-4 at the end of the first quarter, 28-16 at the half and 41-30 going the final period.

    Scoring: Clayton Haas 1, Ty Noska 1, Andrew Steffek 9, Sam Bludau 4, Timber Janak 2, Jayden Schindler 2.

    Victoria West JV 50, SH 35

    Despite 22 points by Andrew Steffek, the Indians lost to the Victoria West JV Friday.

    Scoring: Riley Haas 3, Hudson Kutac 13, Clayton Haas 6, Marcus Seger 1, Ty Noska 3, Lance Barton 5.

    Threes: Kutac, Noska, Barton

    Sacred Heart 53, Austin Hill Country 35

    Andrew Steffek scored 23 points and Hudson Kutac 18 to lead the Indians past Austin Hill Country Friday. Kutac made three, three-points and Steffek one.
