Johnson takes second place

The Yoakum High School (YHS) Lady Bulldog Powerlifting Team came in seventh at the Louise meet on Feb. 10.

Deavia Johnson earned runner up in the 181-pound class with a total of 660, 260 squat, 125 bench press, and 275 deadlift.

Dulce Medina came in fourth in the 123 class with a 490 total, 220 squat, 85 bench press, and 185 deadlift.

Alyssa Dominiguez placed fifth in the 165 class with 535 total, 200 squat, 95 bench press, and 240 deadlift.

Madie Svec was seventh in the 148 class with a 205 squat, 70 bench press, 240 deadlift, and a 515 total.

Julie Immenhauser was eighth in the 114 class with 355 total, 140 squat, 55 bench press, and 160 deadlift. Alex Betancud was scratched in the 148 class. Raeshele Carroll was disqualified in the 242 class. Isabella Orisco did not place in the 242 class.
