Jr. League Softball eliminated by Silsbee

Hallettsville scored the winning run in a walkoff 4-3 victory in the bottom of the ninth Saturday to force a second game. Kendall Thompson scored the game-winner on a sacrifice fly by Ashlyn Pustka.

Ainsley Grahmann was the starting pitcher and worked the first five innings, ceding six hits, three runs (one earned), two walks and struck out two.

Elizabeth Felcman was the winning pitcher and toiled four innings and allowed no runs while striking out one.

Hallettsville had six hits with Kennedy Zappe a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs batted in. Allison Clark hit a runscoring double. Kendall Thompson singled in a run and Kenzie Chance had a RBI.

Hallettsville won despite committing six errors. Silsbee 6, Hallettsville 4

Four errors were the culprit in the All-Stars’ 6-4 loss to Silsbee in the first game of the tournament Friday.

Elizabeth Felcman was the starter and loser. Felcman surrendered all six runs (four earned), eight hits, walked three and recorded three strikeouts in 4.2 innings.

Ainsley Grahmann pitched the final 1.1 innings and gave up three hits and struck out one.
