Lady Bulldog lifters place 12th at recent meet

    The Yoakum High School (YHS) Lady Bulldogs Powerlifting Team scored five points and placed twelfth in the St. Jospeh Power Fest Jan. 27 in Victoria.

    Deavia Johnson was second in the 181 class with a total of 605, 250 squat, 120 bench press, and 235 deadlift.

    Alyssa Dominguez placed ninth in the 165 class with a 490 total, 165 squat, 90 bench press, and 235 deadlift.

    Julie Immenhauser made tenth in the 105 class with a total of 325, 135 squat, 55 bench press, and 135 deadlift.

    Madie Svec was eighth in the 148 class with total of 445, 180 squat, 70 bench press, and 195 deadlift.

    Alex Betancud scratched in the 148 class. Raeshele Blank scratched in the 242 class.
