Lady Bulldogs win two matches

The Lady Bulldog volleyball team won both road matches Oct. 10 and Oct. 13.

YOAKUM 3, HALLETTSVILLE 0

Addison Pekar had 17 kills and Sam Adamek contributed another dozen in the Lady Bulldogs 3-1 (25-14, 25-17, 22- 25, 25-17) win at Hallettsville on Oct. 10.

Bri Lopez had one dig. Destiny Rios had nine kills, and nine digs. Jayana Phillips chipped in 21 digs, seven kills, one assist, and one ace. Leah Muenich had one ace and one dig. Macie Blakeney provided 41 assists, seven digs, and two aces. Madison Gonzales had eight digs and one ace. Olivia Fojt had 20 digs, two aces, one kill, and one assist. Taylor Velek had one ace. Adamek also had one dig and Pekar had five digs and one solo block.

YOAKUM 3, RICE CONSOLIDATED 0

Phillips had 19 kills as the Lady Bulldogs won at Rice on Oct. 13, 25-8, 25-13, 25-20.

Pekar had five kills, two digs, one assist, and one ace. Lopez had one dig. Destiny Rios produced 11 digs, six kills, and one ace. Hannah Schultz had four digs. Phillips also had nine digs, one and ace. Muenich had one dig. Blakeney tallied 34 assists, four digs, three kills, and one block assist. Gonzales had three digs, two aces, and one assist. Fojt had 17 digs and three aces. Adamek finished with six kills and one block assist.

Yoakum played Edna last night, Oct. 17, their first home match after five straight road matches.
