The Yoakum Lady Bulldogs soccer endured their first district defeat when they hosted La Vernia on Feb. 20, falling 4-1.

Rubi Martinez was the goal scorer for the Lady ‘Dogs.

The boys soccer team was dealt an 8-0 loss against La Vernia.
