LB finish strong in Schulenburg
SCHULENBURG – Hallettsville caught fire in its final two matches of the Schulenburg Tournament Saturday.
LB finished with a 3-4 record in the tournament and are 5-10 overall.
“We are in the middle of a construction process, trying to get all the moving parts together,” head coach Christina Halata said. “We did some good things in the tournament and made some adjustments in the majority of our matches.
“Passing consistency continues to be a problem which we are striving to fix. We had a good Saturday.”
Hallettsville defeated district opponent Rice Consolidated in its final match Saturday, 25-20, 25-19.
