LB Lose to Palacious

The Hallettsville Lady Brahmas has seen this scenario too many times before - win the first set, lose the match.

The Lady Brahmas could not stand success in the 25-13, 25-23, 26-24, 30-28 loss to the Palacios Sharkettes in a District 25-AAA match here Friday.

Kasey Harper’s 6 kills in the first set propelled the LB to an easy 25-13 victory.

Twelve (12) overall errors in the second set didn’t help in the 25-23 loss. There were 7 ties, the last at 23-23, before 2 kills by the Sharkettes settled the issue.

The third set also went down to the wire with Palacios eking out a 26-24 win.

The fourth set was another thriller in a 30- 28 Sharkettes win.
