LB salvage a win in La Grange
LA GRANGE – The Hallettsville Lady Brahmas won one game in the first-ever Schmecke n f e s t To u r n a m e n t Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
However, some good came out of the tournament as Kasey Harper scored her 1,000th career point.
LB 59, Aussies 19
Three players were in double figures in the 39- 19 win over the Aussies.
Alaina Halata filled the hoop with 22 points including four threes, Addison Matula and Kasey Harper scored 10 points apiece.

Franklin 61, LB 34
No players were in double figures in the loss to state-ranked Franklin.

Anderson Shiro 47, LB 45
The LB could not overcome 16 missed free throws in the loss to Anderson Shiro.
The Owls led 13-6 at the first break and 22- 14 at the intermission.
The LB scored 21 points in the third quarter with Alaina Halata scoring 9 points and Destiny Garza 6, but the Owls scored 17 to lead 39-35 going into the fourth period.

The LB could manage just 11 points in the first half in the loss to Bastrop.

La Grange 57, LB 43
Freshman Camp - bell Cooper poured in 26 points to lead La Grange to the 57-43 victory.
LG led 38-29 going into the fourth quarter, but Kylie Trlicek scored 11 points for the Lady Leps to keep Hallettsville at arm’s length..
Kasey Harper hit 16 points for the LB with one three.
