LB surge past Gonzales
The Hallettsville Lady Brahmas put away Gonzales, 49-38, with a strong second half here Tuesday, Nov. 12.
The teams were tied at 24-all at the big break before Hallettsville scored nine unanswered points to begin the third quarter with Kasey Harper scoring four of them and never looked back.
Halata had a teamhigh 17 points with two three-pointers. She was 4-for-9 from the field and made five of her eight free throw attempts. Harper and Destiny Garza had 8 eight points apiece.

Beeville 65, LB 33
Beeville Jones jumped all over the Lady Brahmas in the first period which they could never recover in the 65-33 loss to the Trojans in Beeville Friday.
Beeville jumped out to a 19-5 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 27-15 at the half.
The LB were a paltry 8 of 26 from the foul line.
Danielle Gonzales poured in 20 points for the Trojans and hit four treys.
Kasey Harper led the LB with 9 points.
