LB Take Season-Ending Win

EL MATON – In a season where a lot of things went wrong and a lot of things didn’t go right, the Hallettsville Lady Brahmas wrapped up the season with a bang by defeating El Maton Tidehaven, 22-25, 25-18, 25-11, 25-10 in a district 25-AAA match Tuesday, October 24.

The LB lost to Tidehaven 3-1 on September 29, but got in the win column this time with Alaina Halata and Ella Amsden producing a double-double. Amsden had 9 kills and 12 digs and Halata 18 assists and 13 digs. Kasey Harper also had 9 kills.

Hallettsville finished 3-11 in district. Columbus won district, Yoakum was second, Industrial third and Edna fourth.
