Local youth sports: Legends 14U softball team wins tournament

    The Lonestar Legends 14U softball team turned in a dominant performance at the PS4 Sandlot Tournament on Saturday in New Braunfels, going undefeated in four impressive outings. The Legends’ bats came alive throughout the day, producing 27 total runs while their defense held opponents to just seven. Consistent pitching, timely hitting, and sharp play in the field set the tone from the opening pitch. The tournament ended in a 5-2 victory in the championship game, securing first place honors and capping off a well-earned title for the Legends. It was a complete team effort and a statement performance for the 14U Shiner team.
