MINOR LEAGUE SOFTBALL IN ROUT OF NEEDVILLE
NEEDVILLE – After a rain-out on Sunday, the Hallettsville 10u All-Stars waxed Needville, 18-5, on its home turf Monday night.
Hallettsville banged out nine hits and used seven errors to coast to the easy victory.
Starting pitcher Morgan Felcman went 2.1 innings to get the win and Quinn Henneke threw 1.2 innings in relief.
Felcman gave up one hit, five walks, struck out five and five runs, four unearned.
Henneke gave up a hit, walked one and struck out three.
Hallettsville had four extra base hits including a home run by Blair Ranly
Hallettsville led 7-0 prior to scoring 11 fourth inning runs to end the game prematurely.
Adley Zappe and Amryn Etzler were both 2-for2. Zappe hit a triple and drove in one run and Etzler had a run batted in.
Kenley Sevcik tripled for a RBI. Macyn Wimberly, Brenna Bucek and Felcman had hits. Bucek’s hit was a triple.
