Moulton baseball: Baseball team wins district game against Bloomington

Moulton won a district game at Bloomington and won against Victoria Cobras.

Landon Chaloupka went 3-for-3 with triple and two runs as Moulton notched a 3-1 district win at Bloomington March 14.
Moulton led 1-0 after the first inning and outscored Bloomington 1-0 in the third inning and 1-0 in the fourth frame.  Bloomington scored one run in the sixth inning.
Hunter Anderle went 1-for-3 with one run; Jaxon Bartos hit 1-for-4 with one RBI; Kenton Kirkland and Carlos each went 1-for-3.
On the mound, Bartos took the win with one hit and six strikeouts; Travis Haikenwaelder had one run, one walk and two strikeouts; Chaloupka struck out two.

Moulton 9, Victoria Cobras 1
The Bobkatz scored seven runs in the fifth inning in a 9-1 win over Victoria Cobras March 18. The Katz scored one run in the first and third innings. Victoria Cobras scored one run.
On the mound was  Chaloupka who allowed three hits and struck out five;  Kirkland yielded one run on one hit and fanned one batter;  Bartos had two strikeouts.
On the bats,  Bartos went 2-for-4,  Chaloupka went 1-for-1, two runs,  double. Travis Haikenwaelder was 1-for-4 and one run; Brandon was 1-for-2 with one run; Carlos was 1-for-3 with one run; Alex Trevino, Colton and  Kirkland all scored one run.
