Moulton boys basketball: Katz beat Bloomington, lose at Gonzales

The Moulton Bobkatz defeated Bloomington and were edged by Gonzales in their last two games before Thanksgiving.
Moulton 51, Bloomington 42
 Trenton Meisetschleager poured in 27 points as Moulton defeated Bloomington 51-42 at home on Nov. 18.
The Katz led 23-11 after the first quarter and outscored Bloomington 14-8 in the second box.
The Wildcats went on a 14-8 run in the third and outscored Moulton 9-6 in the fourth quarter.

Down 46-35 heading into the fourth quarter, Moulton went on a 16-7 run but fell at Gonzales in a close one 53-51.
The Apaches led 17-10 after one quarter and 30-23 at the break. Gonzales scored 16 of 28 points in the fourth quarter.
Meisetschleager had another big game by scoring 29 points; Angel Martinez for Gonzales led all scorers with 33 points.
