Moulton boys basketball: Katz knock down Indians, Yellowjackets in recent district games
The Bobkatz defeated Prairie Lea and Runge last week.
Moulton 89, Prairie Lea 29
Jaxon Bartos scored 21 points to lead the Bobkatz to a 89-29 win over Prairie Lea Friday at home.
Hunter Anderle scored 17 points, Kenton Kirkland added 13, Landon Chaloupka tacked on 12 points with Seth Beyer and Greyson Anderle each sinking 10 points.
Gabriel Garcia led the Indians with 13 points and Layne Harkey scored 10 points.
Moulton started well with a 30-7 run in the opening quarter with Kirkland and Bartos each scoring eight points.
The Katz scored 25 of 35 second-quarter points and leading the way was Bartos who booked seven points.
Bartos led the 18-4 run in the third quarter with half a dozen points and Moulton outscored the Indians 16-8 in the final period, paced by six points from Chaloupka.

Hunter Anderle scored two dozen points, Kirkland added 16 points, Chaloupka and Greyson Anderle each chipped in 11 points while Beyers recorded 10 points in Moulton’s 86-41 win at Runge Thursday. Runge was led by Jose Mendoza who knocked down eight triples and finished with 29 points.
Chaloupka put in nine points as the Katz outscored Runge 23-4 in the opening quarter and scored 26 of 28 points in the second frame, led by by 11 points by Hunter Anderle.
The Yellowjackets managed to outscored Moulton 28-26 in the third quarter and the Katz went on a 11-7 run in the fourth quarter with Hunter Andele sinking seven points.
